Lenses by optovision protect your eyes from UV rays UV rays are the shortwave ultraviolet rays of sunlight: The UVA area is at 315 – 380 nm, the UVB area at 280 – 315 nm (nanometer, nm = 1.000th part of one centimeter). Especially when exposed to stronger sun rays or over longer periods of time, your eyes can be damaged by these UV rays. Therefore, all optovision lenses, even untinted lenses, protect you from harmful UV rays.
